I've said it before, and I will say it again: It's high time parents start demanding webcams in the classroom so they can watch what is being taught to their children in real time. The technology is there and it isn't very expensive.

It will protect both the child AND the teacher. There are countless accusations against teachers every year. With the advent of digital recording media, all could be recorded and stored for a period of time in a very small package. That way, when an accusation arises from either side, there would be a record of what REALLY happened. Keeps everyone honest.
