I guess I’m not objective enough to share a someone’s company or consider myself his/her friend while at the same time having to constantly restrict my words or bury my beliefs. This election proved to be the last straw. The person in question is a former co-worker who I considered to be a decent person (we are both female drinking buddies, etc.) Anyway, the s**t hit the fan today and I can no longer tolerate her defense of these idiots, the typical blame Bush attitude, the belittling of McCain and her assorted views which are just too “progressive” for me.
With friends like this, I don’t need enemies.
