On the eve of the U.S. elections, the New York Times cautiously pointed on Monday to the emergence of a bipartisan consensus in Washington for an aggressive new strategy towards Iran. While virtually nothing was said in the course of the election campaign, behind-the-scenes top advisers from the Obama and McCain camps have been discussing the rapid escalation of diplomatic pressure and punitive sanctions against Iran, backed by preparations for military strikes.

But they also lack an intuition about the proper use of military force in all its ramifications
plus Obama has shown his whole life he picks idiots, losers, and fringers as mentors and advisors and that he extraordinarily insecure about being criticized

It was great in 1999 when Clinton said we should have regime change in Iraq even if it meant unilateral force, due to WMDs, etc. It will be a great thing if O invades Iran, Pakistan, too.

I dunno, in some of O’s interviews, he sounded surprisingly hawkish to me.
It will not be fun watching the flesh & blood pawns, our military, pay the ultimate price for fool-hearty endeavors.
