“Saxby will hold this seat. No way the Dem turnout will match what it did without Obama on the ticket.”
The problem won’t be Dem turnout. The problem is conservatives are totally unenthused about (or outright angry at) Chambliss. It is very likely a high percentage of the Republican base that voted on the 4th won’t vote in the runoff.
You’ll also have conservatives (like me) that will be casting an anti-RINO vote in the runoff.

So you would rather get Jim Martin who will vote to deep-six your 401K?

Spin your anti-RINO voet anyway you want but in a 2-way race you’re voting FOR Jim Martin.

Re-electing Chambliss will provide more cushion against a “Dems Gone Wild” fillibuster-proof Congress. Saxby hasn't been the greatest senator, from a conservative’s perspective, but he will reliably vote against most of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda. That threesome could set the US back to 1977 or worse, 1965. No thanks. I'll be voting for Chambliss as a much, much lesser evil than Martin.
