I wish the girl and her parents (or mother, if her father is still in Iraq) would come forward. She held up really well and would be great to have on some TV talk shows, explaining what it really felt like to be harassed by her teacher in front of the class like that. It would also be nice to hear from some of the other kids in the class, who were saying they supported Obama. They seemed hesitant and confused in their support (very reasonably, since kids that age shouldn’t be expected to explain why so-and-so is the best candidate for President), but I suspect some of them were plenty uncomfortable about how their classmate was being treated, and would be happy to say so. Some of them may also have father or mothers in Iraq.

God bless the child and her parents. I’m just sick that any child would have to go through that kind of public humiliation but her dad is over there FIGHTING SO THAT HIDEOUS WOMAN can have her free speech!!!
