This will be razor thin, whoever wins.

Exhausted officials wrote down a wrong number?

Do they use paper ballots in Minn? Why would there be such chance for human error if they use optical scanners, touch screens, or even the Florida style punchcards? All of those are supposed to produce clean re-counts, aren’t they? Just wondering...........

They use Optical Scanners for hand filled out ballots in all the MN precincts.

There is no question as to who will win. It will be Franken. Since the race was a statistical dead heat, any of the corrections should mirror the election results. That they (always) seem to benefit the rat, you can conclude that it is only a matter of time before the democrat machine steals another Senate seat.

This is why the left dislikes electronic voting. With electronic tallies, every time you look in the register, the same number is there. With paper, it’s oddley different every time you count.

Oh, look, I found an EEPROM chip on the floor in the bathroom, and it has 1600 votes for (D) on it!

notice how democrats manage to “find votes” the most often.

now we have provisional ballot fights.

I’ve sat in our local precinct for vote counts. The tallies are counted, recounted, double cross checked, and then done by yet another counter. I ain’t buyin’ human error over 100 votes.

We use optical scanners in MN. But here's the thing, The scanner will reject your ballot on the spot if you double voted (fill in two circled for the same race), if the circle is filled in improperly or the ballot is crumpled or folded. It spits it out immediately. The the poll worker standing by the machine asks you if you want to re-vote. If you do he makes arrangements for you to receive another ballot. The original is not counted and put into a spoiled ballot box never to be counted.

All good ballots are stored away in case there is a hand recount necessary, as there is now. These ballots will be recounted but because of the way that the optical scanners work there shouldn't be any question as to the vote on the ballot. It's a good system and it is my belief that the RATS can't beat it. But, we'll see.

By the way. A judge has thrown out some absentee ballots found in a state officials trunk (sound familiar) because the chain of custody was broken, Now remember this is MN and judges are usually liberal, so I think this is a good sign. Also the vote has now been certified. So that's it with finding more ballots. Now we do the recount. So Norm has won this election twice already.
