I could very well be wrong, but I seem to remember seeing a show on TV about the capital building & I thing there was a gym in it. I think it was in the basement or near the cafeteria.
President Obama is a new, inexperienced quarterback who has NEVER thrown a pass or lead a scoring drive who is thrust into a very tight game. Expect the blitz’s to come early and often.........
“Obama has said during war-time his job as president would include demanding that the American people recognize an obligation for military service and other statements which imply he intends to re-institute the draft,
Can this be done by executive order or does it have to go through congress?”
During the first Gulf War (which I opposed at the time) there were rumors of a return to the draft. My mother was telling everyone that, if the draft were reinstated, she was going to send me to Canada. Whenever she said this I would just grimace and politely/respectfully ignore her comment. Even though I opposed that war, I had absolutely no intention of disgracing myself or turning my back on my country in a time of need.
Things are different now. Until the United States ends the scourge of abortion, turns away from socialism and returns to observation of the natural law, I will not shed one drop of blood for this country. Nor will I permit my son to do so.
When the balloon goes up, don’t come looking for me or mine. Doing so will only cause you pain.
Thank you for responding and I do understand what you are saying but do you know if he chooses to do this can this be done by executive order or does it have to go through congress?
“By any means necessary.”
za_claws,
I’m sorry. I don’t know the answer to your question.
I have my own question about this, though: If the American people were opposed to such a decision, could they stop a Democratically controlled congress from following Obama’s lead. In other words, (with complete respect intended to you and to your question) what does it matter whether Obama can do this via executive order or whether he must go through the congress?
In some previous thread it was stated to be “Renegade”.
Not swearing to that, though.
while I have no problem with the Confederate battle flag, it is a 'symbol' and a target...
Id much rather see a mass of suppliers and a flying of 13 star 'American Rebel' flags across the country...
back to basics, so to speak...
And,.....China warned Obama yesterday against continuing to allow US arms sales to Taiwan.
see my previous post re stars and bars...
hope your right in that assessment
I like the bonnie blue flag.
“Id much rather see a mass of suppliers and a flying of 13 star ‘American Rebel’ flags across the country...”
I can get behind that. I have been looking with anguish at the American flag flying in front of my house and wondering what to do with it. Thanks for the idea.
a 6ft all weather design would be an excellent business opp with the right advertising...my .02
PG-13
He's just not any new, inexperienced quarterback. He's .....
>>I would be willing to bet there will be some
>>world leaders that will be hesitant to share
>>any information with him
Nonsense, Comrade Citizen.
Chairman Obama will of course receive absolutely the best intelligence the GRU/KGB can provide.
My hope is that if the terrorists do manage to do another "event" here in the US, they will manage to do it on the White House lawn. It won't matter to "NO"...he'll be dancing with joy (if only mentally) in the street that his bretheren have been successful!
I also fully expect "NO" to give OSBL a complete pardon...then we won't have to use our military over there in those nasty mountains to find him....and he'll cut the military even further.
You will have Freepmail re the lower picture with the armed guard.
