Do you want me to post some of his ear marks, such as the billions for the plane that never flew.

>>>Duncan Hunter is a pork barrel spending

His earmarks were for DOD matters, not Christmas tree spending.

Activist conservatives make up only 20-30% of the population.

Maybe Marxists make up only 20-30% of the Population and idiots must be close to 50%.

So, do you support an agenda to capture the votes of idiots, or are you a revolutionary?

ROFLOL, I think studies have shown that 90% of all earmarks were hidden in the DOD budget for years.

“Do you want me to post some of his ear marks”

Oh, not necessary. Allow me!

Check this out:

Hunter made his earmark projects public through a May 2006 listing of his key funding initiatives for the fiscal budget of 2007. His proposed “wish list” consists of 13 defense projects worth $254.3 million, most of which aim to further equip and protect U.S. troops in Iraq as follows: [32]

$210 million for programs to combat roadside bombs (IED’s), which are the chief source of U.S. troop casualties in Iraq. [33] [34] [35] [36]

$27 million for an inexpensive missile called the “Affordable Weapon” [37], which is a multi-purpose cruise missile that, according to Titan Corp., uses available off-the-shelf components to significantly reduce development and production costs for approximately one-tenth the cost of a traditional cruise missile. [38]

$25.7 million for the Navy’s Sea Fighter which, according to Navy News Stand, can operate more effectively in littoral (coastal) waters combat with one tenth of the personnel and one hundred times more firepower than a battleship. [39]

$8 million for the DP-2 “Vectored Thrust Aircraft,” which is a VSTOL, high-speed combat transport aircraft capable of hover, and vertical take-off and landing. [40]

$1.7 million to create a diagnostic skin test for Leishmaniasis, a parasitic skin disease transmitted by infected sand flies in Iraq, Afghanistan, and 87 other countries. The test would be intended to allow more effective treatment of the disease, as well as screening of military personnel returning to the U.S. from these regions. [41]

$1 million for a wound dressing that includes pure oxygen to fight infection and accelerate wound healing. [42]

Defense spending is perfectly acceptable to me.

>>>Yes he was. He served his purpose in the primaries...to rid the roster of any real conservative. When the last one left the race, so did he.

FRED THOMPSON VISITING MCCAIN THIS WEEKEND

NBC/NJ's Carrie Dann and Adam Aigner-Treworgy NBC and National Journal reported that former presidential candidate Fred Thompson visited GOP nominee John McCain at McCain's Arizona cabin in Sedona this weekend.

Since Fred’s old buddy John McCain got the nomination, the Thompson website only contains one word: “Success.”

If you Fred Heads don’t get the message from that, you’re being willfully blind.

Well look at that. It sure does.

I hope McCain gets to ride in his little red pickup truck.

I supported Duncan Hunter, who I feel was an excellent conservative and the right man for the job. We all know where that went.

I spent many hours trying to convince as many of those 62 million numbskulls the danger of 0bama. I had limited success.

As for 2012, I will support a conservative (if there is one) but I will not be a “team player” again like I was this year.

And I am already prepared for the eventuality of a revolution.

What was really frustrating is that by the time the PA primary rolled around...

My primary was February 12th and the selection of MeInsane had already been mandated. 43 states had no say in the selection of the Reform candidate. He was declared the candidate after only 7 primaries and garning an enemic 25.57% of the votes. It was a smoke and mirrors primary s/election.

I will be actively working to unseat both Chambliss and Isakson on their next primary.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you truly believe in conservativism, then in EVERY election, every primary, etc., choose the most conservative candidate without regard to "electability" or any other silliness. Conservatives can't get into office if we don't vote them in. We, the base, determine who wins the primaries. Therefore, VOTE CONSERVATIVE!

Yes, Hunter is guilty of stuffing WAY more dollars into the Pentagon budget than the Presidents have requested over the years.

For example, he forced billions more on missile defense. Billions more on R&D. Billions more for munitions purchases. Billions more into ship and plane and sub building. Tens of millions more for armor vehicle plating and body armor.

Oh, and he used earmarks and arm twisting to force funding for the San Diego border fence and for more BP officers and facilities, as well as the Secure Fence Act of 2007.

However, Hunter has also attempted to ELIMINATE some spending: Such as the entire Dept of Education, the entire Dept of Energy, the NEA and the NEH, Americorps, social programs in the crime bills, OSHA and the EPA by over 50%, the federal component of Welfare, socialized medicine known as SCHIP, every last penny on “global warming” programs, federal funds for ACORN and Planned Parenthood, and ANY and ALL benefits to illegal aliens, just to name a few.

AND he was one of the GOPers who fought tooth and nail against the Bush/Pelosi/McCain/Obama/Boehner/Cantor/Schumer/Reid/Shadegg/Kyl/Paulson/McConnel bailout, despite being personally lobbied by VP Cheney.
