This is just a back door approach to increase the cost of ammunition. Just legislation by taxation.
Ask them: Do you know of someone, 1st, 2nd or 3rd hand, that has been injured or killed in a car accident? 100% of the replies = yes.
Ask them: Do you know of someone, 1st, 2nd or 3rd hand, whom has drowned? 100% of replies = Yes.
Heart attack or stroke? 100%
Someone killed by violence? 100%
Ask them to recall anyone they know, they have heard about, even read about that has died, had complications or was even symptomatic from lead poisoning. Replies here are normally less than 1%.
Remember that the question is not asked, whether they know, or know of, someone with lead levels in their system. The question is whether they know of anyone that has shown any indication that it is doing them harm.
So is lead really the big danger it is made out to be?
Only in small chunks at moderate velocity.
