I saw Jindal’s performance during the hurricaine season, he has the smarts and character to do what is right.

This is about keeping any potential GOP candidate at an equal or lower standing as McCain had with any existing Obama voter.
They don't need us - they simply need to keep who they have. So tear down anyone better than McCain to be equal or worse than McCain in the eyes of the Marxist Messiah's voters and they win again.
