Ahh yes. And I thought we had done away with conscription as well. Leave it to the democrats to demonize the draft and then reinstitute it in such an insidious way.

And I thought we had done away with conscription as well. Actually not, it's just "on standby". Men still have to register and the whole structure to draft them is in place, mostly "staffed" by reservists without a better slot, who would be activated when and if.
