McCain’s biggest problem was he promised change and he promised an end to earmarks and he promised smaller government yet not 3 weeks before the election he voted for the biggest pork barrel spending in history.
McCain only offered socialism lite. I heard a commentator say that the government had to be careful not to overpay for the truly worthless mortgages. If they are truly worthless, then one cent is overpaying, isn’t it?
