List includes: Allstate Insurance, American Airlines, Coors Beer, Fiji Water, HealthNet, Nordstrom, Showtime, Tylenol PM, Warner Brothers Studios, Wells Fargo Bank
These are among the companies lending financial support to a new website set up specifically to thwart the democratic initiative process in California.
Official recognition of Same-Sex Marriage has been defeated by the PEOPLE of the state 2,214,124 to 1 (total of props 22 & 8 winning margins vs. 1 judge who overstepped his bounds to declare gay marriage legal in May of this year).
What I want to know about things like Prop. 8 is the following. Who misled Californians to waste their time passing the earlier one man / woman marriage referendum (whatever it was) that could get overthrown, as it did, by special-interest judges?
They can demand acceptance....but the retort is SODOMY is not a civil right.
Local LA TV feed for anyone interested in watching the LA protest march. (No sound)
Cops are pretty much acting like sheep-herders and keeping them directed back towards West Hollywood aka: “Boy’s Town”

Hey, anything can get overturned by special-interest judges. You’re not still expecting law-based decisions from them, are you?
Allstate has been liberal as hell for as long as I can remember.
Where did you get your list of sponsors? I didn’t see Allstate or Coors on their little sponsor show.
Where did you get the list - I don’t see it at the link

Well, I guess Nordstrom’s have lost us as customers (close to 4 decades).
We stopped doing business with Wells over a decade ago.

We don’t march and threaten Catholics and Mormons.
We can boycott the corporations funding the repeal of Prop 8.
Boycotts can work for our side too.
There are many corporations funding the repeal of Prop 8.

Although I applaud you moving out of wells fargo, Bank of America is not any better. They support planned parenthood and abortion. So does Wachovia. What about U.S. Bank or a local Credit Union? In the midwest we have UMB and Commerce too. They would be good also.
Thank you for the list.
Please forward onto others that are thinking of changing from Wells Fargo. I noticed some were wanting to change to Bank of America. They as well as Wachovia support another evil, abortion. They are long supporters of planned parenthood. So please forward that these other two large banks are not good alternatives
