Palin should just handle her business in AK until 2012. She'll have another 4 years of executive experience under her belt, she'll be battle-tested to deal with the vultures in Washington. Picking Palin for VP was the best thing McCain has ever done for conservatives. Now she has name recognition and she has been thoroughly vetted, and will be ready for 2012.

I don't agree. I think her taking Murkowski’s Senate seat is a perfect introduction to national politics and allows her to be a thorn in Obama’s side for four years.
