Neither a redneck or pro-populist here. I would have voted against Obama on Tuesday. With Palin I voted for McCain.

In actuality it is the first time I have voted for a Republican rather than against a Democrat.

Bush I against Dukakis
Dole against Clinton
Bush against Gore
Bush against Kerry
McCain against Obama
For Palin against McCain.

She is Reagan early in his governorship of Cali. Give her time to polish her national credentials.

I disagree. Reagan, even before he was governor, could speak intelligently at length on any number of economic policy issues.

The best Palen can do is repeat "greed and corruption on Wall Street" and change the subject to oil drilling.

Reagan was a deep policy thinker from the beginning of his political career.

Palin is no Ronald Reagan, and if you think she is, you're deluding yourself.

I wouldn't go as far to say she's Reagan. There's only one Reagan.

Palin right now isn't my first choice for President in 2012, but I would put her right after Mark Sanford or Bobby Jindal.

No Senators, please.
