WASHINGTON U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on the news Illinois Congressman Rahm Emanuel has accepted the job as White House Chief of Staff. Graham spoke by phone with Emanuel earlier today.
Graham said:
This is a wise choice by President-elect Obama.
Rahm knows Capitol Hill and has great political skills. He can be a tough partisan but also understands the need to work together. He is well-suited for the position of White House Chief of Staff.
I worked closely with him during the presidential debate negotiations which were completed in record time. When we hit a rough spot, he always looked for a path forward. I consider Rahm to be a friend and colleague. Hes tough but fair. Honest, direct, and candid. These qualities will serve President-elect Obama well.
Rahm understands the challenges facing our nation and will, consistent with the agenda set by President-elect Obama, work to find common ground where it exists. I look forward to working with him in his new position and will continue to do everything I can to help find a pathway forward on the difficult problems facing our nation.

Hey Lindsey, how about the fact that he was council for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac...you know, the institutions that fleeced America for democratic initiatives to make house ownership available to Americans who could not afford it, brought the US markets down, and then paid off thier democratic enablering legislators...the one receiving the most money over the last three years being Obama himself?
Why not mention those inconvienent truths?

Graham is a loser.
Too bad Tom Ravenel turned out to be a cokehead - he was going to be a primary challenger to Grahamnesty.

Regardless of what he says, Lindsey has a permanent crosshairs on his back for his impeachment exercise when he was in the House. Take that to the bank you half-pint, talk out of the side of your mouth, mush-mouth.
Rahm is going to getcha.

I don't why South Carolinians reelected that RINO turd. They would done better to send in a Democrat.

Forget it, Lindsey. There’s not a chance the Jewish John Wayne is going to be your best buddy. Nice try, though.

Everyday, I keep waking up and thinking that maybe today I’ll see a glimmer of hope that this government hasn’t gone to crap.
Everyday I wake up dissapointed.

Based on what I’ve been seeing here in this election cycle I believe I can now say with 100% certainty that I am not a Republican. I wish there were a rational, reasonable party option with a snowball’s chance of getting someone elected.

According to the WJC web site 75% of all Jewish Americans voted for The Democrats, So I guess one can say that they voted to not support and help Israel.
