Bob, the American people are solely responsible for adopting Marxism. Hell, even at the Free Republic there are long-time members who post here that are suspicious of capitalism, spew class warfare, disdain free trade, disdain free markets, disdain all things/people foreign. Many times, these biases cause these people to advocate for more government.
