We’re f’d.
I guess that was a special occasion (ie foreign media showing up), but it’s nice to know that time is spent at school with kids talking about how they feel.
“The soft bigotry of low expectations” applies more to the teachers than to the students, IMO. It’s really sad to think that kids who could have a chance to make it on their own with a quality education are instead stuck in an environment for 7 hours a day in which they are constantly subjected to liberal-left pablum. But is that not the point? The more students who succeed, the fewer future supporters of the policies favored by their teachers.
Would not these students be better off if 7 hours a day they work on their, uh, I don’t know, how about reading, writing, and arithmetic? Imagine if in grades K through 12 these children actually worked at that day in and day out, instead of the latest progressive educational nonsense to come down the pike? That school didn’t look too shabby. Yet I’m sure that the students aren’t performing well and the teachers, principal, and superintendent will claim that it’s because they don’t have enough money.
Let’s face it, liberals don’t want these children to succeed. Especially the African-American children.
For awhile, you're certainly right, but the Dems will self-destruct before too long. It will be spectacular to watch.
