Was discussed on a previous thread. IIRC the person or a relative of the person is the only one with access to the original (Became law to stop ID theft)......It was also already suggested that Dick Cheney might be able to get it.

As I said earlier I have some knowledge on this subject and states have had laws regulating access to "vital records" for a long time...long before anyone even heard of "identity theft".Yes,it could be true that Hawaii just recently changed their laws.In Massachusetts,for example,anyone can *still* walk into state offices and get a copy of *anyone's* vital record...except adoption records.No need to show ID or anything.Also,here,until a few years ago you could bring a Mass license plate number into any DMV office and get the owner's name and address.That stopped when it was learned that stalkers were using this method.I think it was after a woman was murdered.

Regardless of how Hawaii's laws read,osama's records should be open *at least* to the press and the RNC.
