Given his personal associations and his Harvard/Columbia indoctrination, I'm beginning to think that Obama sees himself as a Hegelian "world-historical figure." Notice the reference in the text to "self-awareness."

This would explain his coldness and aloofness. He sees himself as being above the rest of humanity. Like a Nietzchean Superman, Obama is free to transcend good and evil, as he did with his votes in favor of infanticide.

Those votes indicate that he altogether lacks a conscience, as does the fact that he has contributed nothing to the care of his indigent family. The Bible has very harsh words for men who do not support their families --nevermind baby-killers.
