News has been circulating around GOP insiders for weeks that McCain campaign honchos Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt were planning to blame Sarah Palin for McCain’s loss. This was expected to be an effort to punt the blame for their own failures to the side of the ticket that was most popular with the base, attracted the largest rally crowds, and scared the living bejeepers out of the opposing party.

It was made by credit card, but Susan responded herself with a confirmation of the refund. No need to contest it at this point.

Success has a thousand fathers but failure is an orphan. In this case: a whiny, tantrum-throwing orphan who screams at the top of his lungs and throws his dinner tray against the wall, blaming his little sister for the fact that he didn’t get what he wanted for Christmas.

“I contacted them this morning, expressing my frustration with the latest turn of events, and demanded a full and immediate refund of my $100 contribution. They are providing a refund”

I asked for a refund of my two $50 dollar donations.

I am so pissed.

I have been extremely unhappy with the Republican National Committee since Bush 41 ran for reelection.

They JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIGHT these liars on the left.

I would not have voted for McCain if it were not for Sarah.

This has Mitt Romney written all over it. Another man I CANNOT vote for.

I'm pretty sure Susan Nelson is someone I know really well and she just got an email from me that was not pleasant regarding the shameful

"Let's leak about Palin

to cover up for McCain's failin'"

Rush and Beck both seem to believe the “rumors” at this point. Wanna ask them if DUmmyville sent them?

I would not have supported McCain, but when Gov. Palin came on board, I donated money 3 times, worked the phone banks, walked my precinct and voted for Palin/McCain.

What a weird campaign staff, should have been fired long before the election.

The inclusion of Governor Palin on the ticket changed everything for conservatives that still comprise the base of the Republican Party. Many decided that instead of staying home on election day or voting for Bob Barr, they would donate, volunteer for phone banking and actually vote for John McCain.

This truth should be emphasized again and again!

Isn’t Schmidt a Rove protege? I remember yesterday when Martha Mac of Fox asked who is the future of the GOP. Rove was listing off people in Congress etc... then Martha said you didn’t mention Palin then Rove said some stuff about her but I doubt he’s too much of a Palin fan.

Someone also said Rove defended palin on Greta but wasn’t as firece as Greta was.

Rove should tell the people he knows to cut it out if he still has any power or influence over them.
