I listen to Rush, email friends and check in here.
I watch a lot of old movies, I have several hundred DVD’s. ;)
I watched Command Decision with Clark Gable and Jumper (which is a fairly new one) last night.
At the same time I recorded Bones, CSI: NY and Knight Rider which is very juvenile, but I like the Shelby Mustang. >:-}
I did watch FNC (Fox News Channel) at 1:00PM to catch a little Neil Cavuto and FBN (Fox Business News) at 3:00PM where Cavuto has another one hour show.
I have DirecTV HD, love that high def. I’ll be watching the NFL channel tonight for Brady Quinn’s coming out party(Browns-Broncos.) The NFL network has great High Def and the guys cover football well. ;);)
Good old Turner Class Movies!
It has always bothered me that in Command Decision they have a model of an Me-262 German Jet Fighter made up, but in the film they call it a "Landswolf" something or other!
Otherwise, a great film with excellent writing and acting all the way around.
I fear some of the dialog may show how things are to some in the future in stopping Iran getting nuclear weapons. Below, think nObama for Kane and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs for Dennis:
Maj. Gen. Roland Goodlaw Kane: Casey, this may pull down the work of twenty years. All right, let's have it.
Brig. Gen. K.C. 'Casey' Dennis: The day after you left, sir, weather conference gave us a clear break over Central and Northeast Germany 44 days running. There was a chance to do the job, possibly the last one, so I laid on 'Stitch.'
Maj. Gen. Roland Goodlaw Kane: Regardless of the fact that you might be upsetting the larger picture .
Brig. Gen. K.C. 'Casey' Dennis: Larger than what, sir? The outcome of the war?
