The last time voters in the Democratic stronghold of Fayette County favored a Republican for the White House, President-elect Barack Obama was 11 years old.

I grew up in Fayette County (Uniontown). The area has a large number of Catholics who had the fear of God put into them by the Priests last weekend. Three members of my wife's family who hate Bush for everything he has or hasn't done voted McCain solely because of abortion/right to life. Too bad other Catholics in both of our families refuse to listen.
