All the talk about Palin and the future of the Republican Party masks the coming fight in the Democrat Party. IMO, Nancy and Harry supported Obie because they saw him as someone who could be easily manipulated. They will soon understand as the press will that they have been played.
Obie's selection of Ram (yes I said Ram) Emanual as his Chief of Staff is a signal that Obama will be continue to play hardball politics Chicago style. There will be no leaks or dissension from an Obama cabinet, period. They will march in lockstep or else.
Criticism from the MSM will not be tolerated. Press passes will be pulled. People who don't play along will be destroyed.
Count on it.

I guess they have selected McCain to be their representative to the Republicans in the Senate. Funny, how McCain was nothing but a Bush buttboy according to Obama and the democrats but suddenly, now that they want to use him is being recognized again as the only republican in the senate that the democrats can rely on. If anyone is left in the party leadership that was placed there by McCain is not dismissed, conservatives should give the party an ultimatum demanding their dismissal.
