Exactly, I think that’s why lieberman and Mccain have always gotten along so well. Neither one really stands by a party they just seem to gravitate which ever way the wind blows them.

Tennessee - a state with the first Republican majority in both House and Senate since Reconstruction. Our state pulled through better than most this election.

They get along well because they have nearly identical political positions. They're both for the war against Islamofascism, and liberal on every other issue except abortion. That's the only one on which they disagree.
