Depends. Will they grandfather the legislation to Jan 1st or will you be able to wait until it looks like the bill will pass?
This is my concern also. I’ll be 59 1/2 on the 14th of this
month. I don’t know what to do with my 401K remenants.
I’d like to put it into something that would stay mine.
I sure don’t want to give it away after working 25 years
to save it for myself.

Like the current Obama decline, which began back in September, the market will discount the bill. It’s the way the market works. Could be in stocks already. What looks to not be in it are the layoffs that are coming. Normally layoffs are not a big deal because lots of new companies take up the slack that grab headlines but right now I’m not seeing much of those activities.
