No offense, but I think Romney could have won where McCain/Palin failed.

I don’t think so. The media would have ripped him apart for being Mormon. That happens every day even on FR.

I'm "just" 55 but I agree....we need younger candidates who are strong and have good speaking skills...good comeback skills....having book "smart" candidates and candidates with "experience" has gotten us nowhere.....
and I can't say enough is that the Latino community is the community we should be going after, and that means brining in lots and lots of good young Latino candidates....

Just before the election, I wrote a letter to Sarahs mother in Wasilla. It said simply: Thank you for Sarah. May God bless the Heath and Palin families. I can do you one better; I got a chance to meet Chuck and Sally Heath (and also Faye Palin) at the McCain headquarters in Las Vegas the day before the election. I got to shake their hands and tell them how much I appreciate the gift they have given our country in the person of Sarah Palin. And I got to stand and watch Sarah's rally speech from Missouri with them. They are wonderful, salt-of-the-earth people. I just love the whole family.

Did you all ever find a suitable email address? The one at governor@alaska.gov asks that correspondence there be Alaska-related only, nothing political.

I’m in the process of putting together a scrapbook of photos, etc. from when she made a campaign stop in Carson City, NV. I also have pictures from the Nevada Day Parade where Todd’s parents were our special guests.
