God's son is to reign not some republican president. The lesson here may be that we have looked to hard to the GOP and not enough to God. I for one am guilty.

God answers all prayers. Sometimes in his infinite wisdom the answer is no.

I am guilty of the same thing, looking to politics too much and to God too little. This may be God’s way of strengthening our faith as individuals and as a nation. At least I’m going ask God to help me better put my trust in Him!
