The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
Allahs got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Camerons words, knowledgeability. More slime here. And here.
At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.
Lets assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Dont need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.
Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didnt agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.
And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.
Shame on the smearers who dont have the balls to show their faces.
Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

I was fed up reading this crap yesterday. Sarah Palin is the person who put the life back into a failing campaign. It was her selection that caused me to finally decide to cast a vote for president. I made that decision the moment she concluded her acceptance speech.
What caused McCain’s failure? IMO it was his poor response to the bailout issue, and the campaign never, ever, giving voters a policy to vote FOR. One other issue may also be involved; the Hispanic vote going so strongly for Obama. His defeat has nothing to do with Sarah Palin. NOTHING!
Quelle surprise.

I think we ALL need to re-read Barry Goldwater’s “Conscience of a Conservative”. Once you do, you can recognize the principles—Reagan had them, Mike Pence, Duncan Hunter II, Bobby Jindal, Michael Steele, JC Watts (and more) have them and can articulate them. Where Sarah Palin is concerned, is that she may not articulate those beliefs as eloquently as some of us might like, but she LIVES those principles and can talk about them them with conviction and sincerity—as did Ronald Reagan. She inspires by action, where the RINOs/intelligentsia try to inspire by words. Words without conviction are just words. To make our party the refuge for Americans who believe in God, country, free markets, and a limited government who remembers that it is the servant of the people—and not their masters—we need that conviction and sincerity.
Real Republicans walk the walk AND talk the talk. Sarah Palin is a real Republican. Game. Set. Match.

All of those personal one on one interviews have provided enough rebuttal.
What are the vast majority of FReepers saying, re: Sarah Palin and their feelings towards her, come 2012?
Get back to me, afterwards.
If that is your proof you have a problem.
Yes, all their posts put mccain over the top.
Can't read for comprehension, huh? Wotta shocka.
Sorry, but I'm neither fluent in Leftist or Loser.
Tell you what, though: pretend you're McCain. Beg me in Spanish.
Pfft. Dismissed.
Terminal case. Brain already appears to have been completely eaten through. ;)
I'm not surprised. I remember the day McCain announced Palin as his running-mate, some of the FR Romneybots wasted no time at all in getting on here and trashing her.
No undecided broke for Obama over Palin. That’s a joke.
Funny you should make that statement. I kept reading about people who’d said that disappointed Dems were voting for McCain “for the first time” and that desappointed Reps. were going to “hold their noses” and vote for McCain.
The “disappointeds” to whom I spoke all said they were staying home.
Me too.
Ah. Is THAT what I've been attempting to scrape from the bottom of my shoe this morning, then...? ;)
Shame on FoxNews for running the story when they wouldn’t run negative stories about President-Elect Ding Dong.
Patent BULL$HIT from incompetent losers!!!
Oh, drat. Then I suppose you'll just have to attend the McCain Inaugural Ball this coming January without me, is all.
*yawn*
