“Correction: the RINOs that infest the Republican Party ensured McCain’s defeat. Without Palin the GOP ticket would have been disemboweled. We Conservatives need to get busy at the grassroots level and make the GOP the party of Reagan once again. The RINO ‘we suck less’ mentality will doom the GOP to wander in the wilderness. Nobody is buying the ‘Democrat Lite’ cr@p anymore. This election should drive the point home.”
I agree. And we start by taking names of all the “drive by” insulting of Sarah Palin. No matter who the culprits are from inside the campaign, they committed an unpardonable sin of aiding and abetting the enemy. People without morals, honor and principles belong in the DemocRAT party. I don't want them representing me. Sarah Palin was the one bright spot in an otherwise dismal election. The Republican Party has seen the last dollar from me until they reform their act. When they start to realize that they are supposed to be working for me, and not the other way around, we'll talk. Till then, I'm a man without a party, and deeply ashamed of the citizens of my country.

I’m blessed in that I’m from a conservative district in VA and we reelected our true conservative congressman (Randy Forbes) handily. My $$ this election went to Randy and the NRA - not the RNCC or any of the national Republican organizations. I understand your frustration but withdrawing from the fray won’t help anyone. The way to change the party and win is to get involved as a CONSERVATIVE at the grass roots level.
