I hope Chambliss gets back in, if only because he has the most interesting name in the Senate...
NO KIDDING!! Come on, guys! We are way past nitpicking their records now. We must have the filibuster or the Dems will be free to cram whatever they want down our throats. Think Cap and Trade, Card Check, DC as a state, zillions for their buddies at ACORN and Planned parenthood, gay marriage, FOCA!! You don't even want to THINK about what they would do with that kind of power! Goodness! Get a grip!
The same goes for Joe Leiberman and Chambliss.
We've got 40, with 4 uncalled races: Alaska, Minnesota, Oregon and Georgia. Georgia will either be an R win, or a run-off in December (I think).
But—but—he was SO bi! Partisan that is. Am not sorry to see him go—although Merkley may prove to be a disaster. At least Merkely’s willing to acknowledge he is a donkey!
That being said, we need him at the moment.
In 2 years another 33 seats go up for re-election. I think Feinstein (CA) is one of them and she may go for Governor. But surely it will be a tough fight for a Republican from CA to win a Senate seat.
I guess people haven't learned a thing from this election. If you don't have squat it is hard to get your majority back.
Remember there are conservative Dems and Rino Repubs, but if we don't have the Rino's at this point we are toast for sure.
We don't have to like it, but we need every little bit we have to stage a come back.
After we get our control back then we can deal with the Rinos!
One step at a time people!
Nice.
So, what you’re saying is that you don’t mind lying, as long as it’s Republicans doing it.
The Ends Justifies the Means.
Don’t know about toast but seems like he may have lost or according to the latest from the Portland Oregonian.... They are projecting his defeat:
