I like how Texans keep inviting us to come, some other state FReepeers keep telling us to stay away, like we’re going to start voting for Democrats since we’re from NJ, etc. LOL

A transplanted Texan taught me how to become a scratch golfer. I’ve never met a Texan who didn’t want to go back, must really be great there.

You see, it’s all part of my ‘evil’ plot to start the secession ball rolling here in Texas, and add other states until we leave the liberal socialists to devour each other and leave us out of it.

No, the way I see it is our corporate tax policies will be so desirable that businesses will flock to the new United Red States of America and won’t be able to flee Obamanation fast enough. Schools will be locally run by communities, reflecting their own values and principles, not those of a massive, socialist, humanist bureaucratic agenda. I would welcome any contiguous state to join in, but I’m afraid we might have some who would have to sell their property in the Obamanation for pennies on the dollar just to get out. But not to worry, housing has been stable in the Texas market thus far, and you can afford far more house for your dollar here than you probably can in NJ. Plus, did I mention we have no state income tax? And no tax on groceries?

I grew up in Oklahoma, own a lake house up there, but still think Texas is the best place to live, and would make a damn fine country.
