“My guess is that nothing will stick to The One”
“They will blame Bush”
I agree with these points completely, but they leave out something important.
The Media is to blame for this, even more than Obama and the Democrats and the scheming socialist.
I'm not whining. I think conservatives worked hard this year. McCain wasn't the greatest choice, but he came close to winning and we liked his VP pick,
but as weak as he was think about how big the McCain landslide would have been if the Media actually did their job.
We all know that every two years republicans and conservatives battle not just our opponents, or our circumstances, but we fight up a media made hill with the media driven wind at our opponents back. When you consider the presidential races we've won it's amazing we were able to do that well.
This year, again, finding themselves with a candidate of enormous negatives they decided to go as low as it took, and hit new depths.
I think we should shake off as much depression and bitterness as we can and get back to work. (I plan on retaining enough bitterness to enjoy every second of Obama's failures) but we need to distinguish areas where we went wrong from our strategies that were countered by the media's traitorous hand. With internet technology we are better armed today than ever to fight media propaganda, even though we lost, but we need to focus on it fully.
The American Media. The nation's guard-dog who holds us down while the attacker has his way.
I agree with you 100%.
