I know they’re coming to take my money, but from here on out they’re going to have to take it.
I donate regularly to a couple of charities. When I get my next mailing from them, I will return them with this note:
I’m sorry, but Mr. Obama has promised to spread the wealth. Since the government will be taking more of my money and sharing it with others, I no longer will be voluntarily giving my money away. The good news for you is that Mr. Obama will fix everything. For the forseeable future, you should save your efforts and not send mail to me.
I appreciate your frustration, but frankly, withdrawing money from charities just proves the Leftist canard that the government is needed to care for everybody.
