It’s almost like he wanted to lose. And so he did. Not Sarah’s fault. He would have been down even more without her and Joe.
There was a quote (late in the campaign) attributed to McCain’s Chief of Staff. He was more concerned with losing “honorably” than winning outright by whatever means necessary. I found that very disconcerting.
Look there is hope, we still have representation in House and Senate, I cannot or will not beleive that we will allow socialism to take hold of this great COUNTRY.
United we stand!
Without Sarah, Obama would have crushed him and McCain would have been lucky to even get 100 EVs. She campaigned her ASS off, she worked tirelessly, did her best to take it to Obama, spoke the truth of Obama’s intentions at every opportunity, and showed us ALL the kind of refreshing leadership we have been lacking but praying for for YEARS. Joe the Plumber was publicly crucified for asking a QUESTION and getting an answer that exposed Obama. These two courageous people did what they could to help, but it was McCain’s job to make the case of why HE should be the president. He didn’t do that and now we’ll all have to deal with the ramifications of that.
Elections have consequences.
