I like what he did.
Unfortunately, the blame for this election falls square on his shoulders and what he didn't do, using the bully pulpit to further conservatism. In that he failed miserably and destroyed our party as a result.
This from someone who supported him financially and worked for his election twice.

President Bush is a decent man. Its true he can't articulate a conservative message well but I don't understand the hatred so many people have for him. I don't agree with some of what's he done - but I have never hated him. I have a respect for the man... if not the office he holds.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. He never fought for our ideals and spent WAY too much. He is going to go down as the President who never vetoed. I like him as a man, but I agree with your points.
