Coincidentally, I was just thinking, a few hours ago, that I had been here for a little more than 10 years and that it’s time to change my screen name. That probably means starting a new account. But that’s as far as I will go. Free Republic is my refuge, my sanctuary. No one has ever invented a better forum format than Jim Robinson’s. I lament the fact that we can no longer post entire articles, but that’s reality. The good people of FR are very dear to me. I’ll stay, as long as there is a Free Republic.
Just curious, but what reasons are there to change one's screen name - after ten years or ten days? That's a genuine question: Why change one's screen name?

If I’m not mistaken, Walking feather used to have a screen name of bentfeather and got it changed.
