30 states have now passed such constitutional amendments. We don't want the Massachusetts-Connecticut disease to spread around the country.

This shows that conservatism does beat liberalism. It’s when we compromise that we lose.

And Arizona. Traditional values remain alive in America.

How the HELL can people vote for Obama AND this amendment in the same election? Seriously......WTF?
How can Louisiana elect Jindal, McCain....and LANDRIEU? Why in the HELL do redstates in the West keep electing Dem Senators by big margins?
I just do not understand.
To: ABQHispConservative
Yep. People voted against McCain because they didn't want a third Republican term. After 8 years, a party outwears its welcome.

I don't understand what happened tonight. But life goes on and now the Democrats have the full responsibility to run the country. They can no longer blame Republicans for holding them up.

This shows that conservatism does beat liberalism. Its when we compromise that we lose. Not sure about that. It only shows that people vote for whatever (or whoever) they want to vote, they aren't necessarily 'coherent'. They may split votes on different issues or candidates.

Florida just shut the heck up....how dare you care about marriage...you don't care for our country and you don't care about babies being murdered...it would suit you well to be invaded by skinny gays with dirty hair....

Until it gets tossed by the courts Courts can't overturn constitutional bans very easily.
