I disagree slightly. Not just any democrat, only Obama. Obama was always going to win this election. The media made sure of that. The media are ultimately where our anger should be placed. Not on McCain. McCain did his best and would have gotten the kind of victory that Obama appears to be getting IF we had a media that weren’t absolutely corrupt to the core. Hilary couldn’t overcome the relentless media machine. McCain couldn’t overcome it. And at the end we were all hoping and praying for a miracle because that’s what it would have taken to overcome this completely rigged election.
There were so many things that should have taken him down. Associations with Wright and Ayers and Odinga, with Acorn, admitted cocaine use, statements about spreading the wealth and destroying the coal industry, his running mate’s numerous gaffes, his wife and her new-found pride in this country, his unbelievably suspect campaign contributions....it goes on and on. And who knows how much more might be out there if only the media bothered to look. But instead the media protected him at every turn while savagely going after Palin and effectively neutralizing her.
We must never forget who truly wrought this upon us. We must never forget who ushered in the Trojan One. The gift from Ayers to America. He is inside the gates now. His comrades are ready to burst forth and change America.
We are as Cassandra. And the media wouldn’t let the people hear our warnings. And they’ll continue to sing his praises even if everything falls apart around us.
