The Market Tomorrow

The election was bound to impact stock markets worldwide tomorrow. Now that it's becoming evident that the next president will be a Democrat, it's almost a sure bet that the US market will be down tomorrow, whereas the Euro markets will be up.

Just goes to show that no one ever knows what they’re talking about with the stock market.

I just came looking for this thread so I could plead insanity but you beat me to it.

Gonna be a rocky road ahead. Or not. LOL

Quite possibly. Best explanation I can agree with, anyway. On the other hand, what will the overall performance be for the entire week? Timing just isn't my thing. Hope long term investing will pay off on a timescale shorter than my lifespan!

Asia having fits tonight too. Hang Seng down almost 1000 points 50 minutes after the open.

Nikkei down 541 at lunch time.

What goes up, must come down.

some of it must be the fact that cap. gains going up soon....withdraw now for lower rates
