"40% of votes in for Ohio."

That's right, only 40% and from which precincts? Rat ones, Republican ones? And even if McCain does loose Ohio, it isn't over. He can win enough of the others to carry the day. The point is, wait till the votes are counted. Calling states won by exit polling is ridiculous. Especially when not a single precinct has reported in for most states yet.

Only 6 thousand votes separating them. McCain can still easily win with 60% more precincts to report in.

Are YOU freakin serious? It’s game over when only 40% of precincts have reported in with 60% of them to go? and only ONE state?

Give YOUR head a shake.

Not if the 40% of the precincts has 80% of the vote.. Do you know how many people are in the remaining 60%? No, so do your homework.

If I were McCain, racism charge or not, I would not concede until everythings in.

I tell you this... I have never witnessed so much voter fraud and the bastardizing of our elections system. That includes from Hillary and O’s teams in Iowa, to same day, multiple day voting, 17 states with confirmed voter fraud, etc.

If you could hear the Africans and Muslims in the streets here (my vidcam is broken), you wouldn’t believe it.

Do you know how many are in the 40 that reported?

How many people live in Ohio? 5 million, 500 thousand. elegible voters.

So I say not even HALF have been counted yet.

When i last checked the ohio election site, they were 15,000 votes apart BUT Cuyahoga County (which, IINM, includes Cleveland) was not reporting ANY precincts’ results yet.

Sorry, like you, I would like a different result. But it is possible to accurately call elections with a lot less than 40% of the precincts reporting. Let’s focus on the real problems and not shoot the imperfect messenger.

Umm, huh? You do realize this is a percentage of PRECINCTS right, not VOTERS? Example, Precincts in Cleveland have many more voters than some bumf*ck town in the middle of nowhere. When you count the major population precincts, you can discount some of the smaller ones. It is math, pure and simple.

Maybe, with normal low voter turnouts and you know that all the higher population areas have reported in with their FINAL count. Be we have a record high turn out, and we KNOW that less than half of the eligible voters have had their ballots counted, so it can easily swing McCains way, especially if there are a lot of rural precincts to be counted.

"Umm, huh? You do realize this is a percentage of PRECINCTS right, not VOTERS?"

Yep. And 40% means 40% of 100% which means 60% remain that have to report in.

See post #12. Notice that there is also a TOTAL number of votes in the last column. Now, add those two numbers together. What do you get? less than HALF of the eligible voters have been counted. We have a very high voter turn out this year. 80%- 100% in most places.

IN ISN'T OVER YET!

IN ISN’T OVER YET! McCain is trailing by only 6,000 votes with a potential of 2,500,000 votes to be counted. even if HALF those people stayed home, do you think McCain can grab at least HALF of the remianing? Sure he can.

IT ISN’T OVER

"Do you know how many people are in the remaining 60%?"

Yep.

1,009,974
0,994,636
_________
2,004,610 votes left in that 60%. Even if HALF, even 1/4 show up to vote, MacCain can still win with a comfortable margin.

4,500,000
2,004,610 ------------ 2,596,390 votes left in that 60%. Even if HALF, even 1/4 show up to vote, MacCain can still win with a comfortable margin.
