We may have seen the last of fair elections in this country.

Posted on 11/04/2008 7:12:59 PM PST by rfmad

Acorn votes in Ohio did us in. Billions to Acorn from now own!!!!

THe biggest hurdle from here on out is getting fair elections to ever turn this around. Acorn will be everywhere a close election is expected and funded with billions of our tax dollars.

The chance of getting a fair judicial ruling against voter fraud is now gone as well. Folks we may be seeing the beginning of the end.

I feel sorry for people like the Vietnamese who escaped from education camps, walked through the jungle bare footed to reach America’s shores. Now it’s all crumbling.

I work with a gentleman who this scenario fits to a tee. He's been just about turning blue in the face trying to tell people that Obama is a Marxist. Why wouldn't you listen to someone who knows firsthand?

I fear this is true. Over the next four years Obama and both Houses controlled by Leftist will try to kill the Republican Party by opening borders to 3rd World socialist nations, who’s immigrants will expect the government to take care of them, and drive this nation into 3rd World poverty, crime and social anarchy, just as the Left did to South Africa. I hope to God I am wrong.

I fear that you are right. It is a sad day for our country.

It is even sadder that the people who elected Obama have no clue about what he really stands for.

As the wrong Reverend Wright would say: “America’s chickens have come home to roost.”

Sadly, unless something unforeseen turns up, you are right. The America I was born into some 68 years ago appears to be gasping her last tonight. Freedom as we have known it, is going to be taken away. We won’t be attacked from without. We are dying WITH-IN!!!!

From the moment the founding fathers signed the declaration of independence, and later the constitution, there has been a struggle in this country, those who fight for the rights of the individual to dictate his or her destiny and those who fight for the rights of the government to dictate the destiny of the people.

Today, after over 200 years, the government has finally won and the collective will has triumphed over the will of the individual. The Village is now more important than the people who live in it.

Some will argue it's a good thing, that entrusting the state of the nation to individuals eventually leads to the wealth and benefits in fewer and fewer hands, leaving more and more of the people on the short end of the stick. Others will argue that without the financial rewards, for individuals who hard work, take risks, start businesses and employ others, a nation soon grows fat and lazy, eventually with less and less to be shared by the masses.

But make no mistake about it, for all their speeches about equality, sharing the wealth, and the rest of their empty hyperbole, the human race will always be focused on the individual, the individual's desire to better themselves at the expense of others. It's not really about the collective, the village, it's about who runs the village, who gets to enjoy the highest quality of life, who has power over other people. As Orwell so eloquently illustrated in Animal farm, “some pigs are more equal than others”.

So tonight America has decided, it's time for the Nanny state, lets see how that works for while. Tonight the majority of Americans stick out their hands and demand that the government take away as much as they can from others and give it to me. Feed me, shelter me, educate me, take care of me when I'm sick, the list is endless.

The poor stupid ignorant fools don't realize, nothing is free in this life and the price of the new America is your freedom. When you turn everything over to someone else, they own you.

Good night America, it was a nice ride while it lasted.

The last one out, remember to turn out the lights.

Hopefully McCain will not concede.

Let the lawsuits begin.

Let the lawsuits go on for the next four years.

To let ACORN vote fraud prevail is unconscionable.

I can’t see how we get our country back. It seems to me that the conservatives on this forum who are planning some kind of conservative rebirth are deluding themselves. With the mainstream propaganda units thoroughly devoted to Obama and/or thoroughly frightened by him, it is impossible for the wider electorate to be informed about the values of conservatism. We are entering a period of dictatorship. I will now find out what it was like for my relatives to live behind the Iron Curtain. The light is going out.

LOL. Elections haven’t been “fair” in this country for years. A choice between socialist party “D” and socialist party “R” is not really a choice, is it? This election cycle has been a blatant put up job since the primaries started, and now they are rubbing our noses in it.
