You may not be a troll, but you mimic one very well.

McCain garnered millions and millions of votes solely because of Gov. Palin...mine being one of them.

She’s a force to be reckoned with in future elections. And she’ll have my vote, and my money, then too.

I am not surprised. This is the SAME DANGED THING that the Drive-By Media did in 2004 (how quickly people forget!). The DBM refused to call some states for Bush even when over 90% of the vote was in for a satte and showed him the winner. meanwhile, they called many states early for Kerry with less than 10% reporting (only to place the state in “toss up” and, then, to Bush much later in the evening).

“but we have Sarah in 2012 to look forward to and it won’t be that bad”

here’s my thoughts on this...Palin stirred some passion in our party this year. She is not the future of the Republican party. Jindal is. Palin will serve Alaska well for the future...
What is wrong with our party when we can’t even get Duncan Hunter front and center? An incredible Reagan Republican and he’s pushed to the back of the line!

Proposition 8 has been the most “visible” issue here in CA, so don’t laugh. Traditionally, it would sound laughable to wonder if CA might swing, but with Prop 8 anything is possible in terms of getting conservative voters to the polls who might have been feeling less than energized. And, the Prop 8 supporters (against gay marriage) have been out in force the last two weeks or so.

The polls close here in 35 minutes. We’ll soon see, but even if Obama does take CA I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a smaller margin.

I hope you’re right RE: Gov. Palin, I just don’t see it. Dan Quayle is a good man, did he ever come back? He was savaged just as she was.

God damn the media.

“This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

" I am still holding out hope that somehow McCain/Palin wins California."

You're kidding right?
California couldn't turn right with two flat tires!

If you want optimism, pray that the 3 and 5% calls are wrong - they're based on exit polls and a small number of actuals and have been wildly wrong in the past...so try to be realistic.

On the other hand, this had better be a lesson to the pubbies:
Pandering to illegal immigrants will never pay off,
McCain/Feingold and "Immigration Reform" were disasters,
The economic crisis was miraculously beneficial to the left - and seems to be turning around already,
Sara Palin will need all the defense and protection the party can give her - which I doubt will come to pass,
I smell 1973 on the horizon, which means 1975 will repeat just after the next election - remember that photo of Vietnamese climbing ladders to get onto the Chinook?
"Independent" means left,
FOX has become MSM.

Well, we all hope to be surprised tomorrow morning... but, it just sure isn’t looking good. Once PA and OH were called Obama, it was pretty much over.

Quayle is a very good man, liked him a lot. That said, he did nothing to dissuade his detractors and did almost everything to encourage more punishment. Very similar to Bush43.

Gov. Palin is unique, and she won’t go away, she and Quayle are two different people, with very disparate personalities and goals.

BTW, I just heard tonight that Gov. Palin’s favorabilities among all rose 25% in the 30 days.

Leave room for her in your plans...she.will.be.back.

McLame’s freakin’ ADVISORS have been carping to the media this evening for the last hour or so that they “don’t see a path” with pols still open in the west...

This is just disgusting. I harbor a micro-hope that CA will offer up some kind of miracle with prop 8 turnout but I sure as hell wouldn’t put money on this.
