That’s exactly what I am thinking. Either take the first ex-pat deal my husband can get or just downsize to bare essentials. I own two modest homes, I could probably sell one and live modestly in one. Problem is I have kids. If it weren’t for the kids, I’d drop out completely. I'm considering that, I'm between jobs now but have a good chance at taking a basic job in an auto parts store or one similar. I'm going to keep it, work hard, make enough to take care of Mom and my cats plus keep my old jalopy running. That way, I pay as little as I can in taxes. I live frugally, my TV is 26 years old, I have the first playstation and none of my computers are made past 1999. I do admit I think Ayn Rand is a little too absolutist but she does have a lot of wisdom where people can only take so much. Who is John Galt?
