Drudge had Kerry up 53-46 in the last exit polls of the day. You’re referring to the polls that were released at like noon on election day 2004 that showed Kerry winning 60-40, but the final exit polls showed him winning 53-46. Kerry ended up winning PA 51-48.
No I believe you are wrong, that 60-40 number was the 5pm numbers, besides, if you have been following the primaries you will know that Drudge was wrong quite often in his headlines.
and if I recall Pennsylvania was too close to call on election day, which gave Dems fits. I believe Kerry’s victory was actually 50-48, a mere 2 pts.
