Same day reg/vote? Sounds like a recipe for fraud.

You know an election idea is a really bad idea when Illinois won't do it. I don't have to show ID, but do have to sign a paper (in front of the poll worker) that is then compared to a signature on file.

*** You know an election idea is a really bad idea when Illinois won't do it. I don't have to show ID, but do have to sign a paper (in front of the poll worker) that is then compared to a signature on file. ***

When I voted today in IL, with our youngest daughter, the Election Worker (lady) who 1st checks you in KNOWS us. She told the next guy with the signature verification sheet books our names, and he STILL checked our signatures to make sure they matched and 'we were we'. And right, we didn't have to show a Photo ID either.

And here's something funny (ha-ha funny) that then happened --

Our IL polling place is in our Library. I don't have a Library Card so I got one since I was there. Guess what I had to show the Librarian. Yep, you got it ... a Photo ID!

So to commit vote fraud and steal an election in IL all you have to do is fake a signature. But so you can't steal a $4.00 book you have to actually prove who you are!

It also took LONGER to get my Library Card than it did to vote. There were a lot of voters, but plenty of machines, poll workers and everything was smooth. No lines.

(and just in case Barry's goons steals the election I checked out a 'reference' book -- The Art of War by Sun Tzu)
