Southwest Ohio. “Extremely heavy” turnout per the poll worker. 25 people in line at 6:00 (1/2 hour before polls opened) and 75 at open. I was number 220 out of 800 total people for that polling place at 9:30. Had one Obama poll worker with Obama buttons on. 3 Pubbie workers. Pubbies looked happy. Obama worker looked sad. Hopefully, that means that she was giving out far fewer sample ballots. In our district it would be a bad sign if she were not.
Was this IN the polling place? I didn't think wearing campaign materials inside the polling place was legal...
i read in our town's newspaper yesterday that voters and poll workers were not to wear any candidate buttons at the polls... i don't know what would happen if someone did wear one... it said nothing about t-shirts...
