Of all the issues, this is the one that pixxes me off the most. 20 million Rush listeners are going to be revved up for action.

Of all the issues, this is the one that pixxes me off the most. 20 million Rush listeners are going to be revved up for action. Actually, if "fairness" is what the democrats seek, then perhaps it's the republicans who stand to gain. That is of course, if the want to be "really fair".
... regarding the "fairness doctrine", I would be all for it it the actual intention of it was to have equal voices in all the media, including all TV channels, all radio programs, all newspapers and magazines, all internet political sites and weblogs, all universities and colleges, all hiring for teachers and professors.
Even better, how about fairness in representation, with 50% for both democrats and republicans in both chambers of congress. And, to top it all off, how about co-presidents, with one democrat and one republican sharing the presidency?
If "fairness" is the goal, then fairness should apply equally amongst the political parties, at least for the 2 major parties.
So, if fairness is truly what democrats seek, republicans will stand to make some huge gains in the media and other places.
