May I ask a dumb question? If Philly’s a lock for the messiah, why do this?

Because Pennsylvania is not a lock.

May I ask a dumb question? If Phillys a lock for the messiah, why do this? Philly is a lock, but PA is not necessarily a lock. And it's the STATEWIDE totals that matter. The Dems hope to get enough votes cast in Philly (by any means necessary) to overcome the anti-Obama sentiment in the rest of the state.

May I ask a dumb question? If Phillys a lock for the messiah, why do this? Philly may be a lock, in fact it's so far in the bag I doubt it can see out, but the same is not true of Pennsylvania as a whole. Every fraudulent vote in Philly cancels one in the "red" parts of the state.

And if Philly is a ‘lock’ why do it so early in the day? Sounds like they need to build a big lead early...interesting. Also...gives time for R attornies to get Federal Court intervention.

Because the Dems need an 80(O)-20%(M) margin in Phila to offset the rest of the State.
The level of corruption on display today has to mean they are deeply concerned that PA is going for McCain. They are pulling out all the stops and their are no Republicans in power anywhere that can stop them. The Mayor, Council, Courts and all Boards are controlled by the Dems.
