John McCain on MNF.

Final score does not bode well for JM, historically.
No correlation between football scores and elections!
Those are fun superstitions, but at the end of the day...they are just superstitions.
The so called Redskins presidential indicator was broken when the ‘Skins lost their last home game before the election in 2004 yet GWB still won the election.
As someone else posted, the Redskins thing was broken in 2004. Go Mac!
ESPN says when Redskins win (or lose) last game before Prez election, the party who won the popular vote the last election will win (lose) the popular vote this time around. That stat is 17 of 17, going back 6 decades. Of course one does not need to win the popular vote to be elected Prez.
see #5
That is incorrect. Gore won the POPULAR vote, and his party lost the popular vote in 2004. The 'Skins indicator lives on.
BUT!!!! The Lakers streak is still alive. Every election year the LA Lakers made it to the NBA Finals, a Republican won the White House (1968, 1972. 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2004). The Lakers made it to the NBA Finals in 2008! :-D
This will be the year that disproves that theory!
McCain’s final score will be higher than Obama’s.
Too bad for the Dems. The poor Socialists won’t get their handouts — I can’t wait for them all to move to Canada.
Oh, so ESPN said it, that clears it all up. /s If that’s your hope that O will win, I feel for you.
Mac did excellent in this interview. I wonder how Hussein did in his.
JM was great...did not watch “That One”...
Chris sure came across like he was a McCain supporter; for sure.
Why, didn't all the talking heads spend all week saying that Obama has made himself the incumbent by default?
The Redskins lost their final home game before the 2000 election and Gore (Communist) won the popular vote, yet lost the election.
They lost their final home game before the election in 2004 yet Bush (Republican) won the popular vote and the election.
Therefore the whole thing is crap.
Tom Ridge DID promise a Steelers’ win AND a McCain win.
Who expects the Stillerz to loose? (PaMom ducks the cyber bombs tossed her way)...
Actually, today on Rush the superstition was dismissed by non-other than John Madden (Rush ran into him in Indy over the weekend). Rush is also at tonight's game (he is a huge Stiller fan). And lastly...you want a happy, content, SW PA electorate 'focused' on the election tomorrow...not disinfranchised Yunzers too hung over to vote (see...I brought it back to politics). Rush will be happy too!
